I wake up at 6am to the sounds of the windows rattling due to thunder and torrential rain coming down. Since when do storms happen in the morning? It's an afternoon thing!!! Plus it's been going 2 hours now and we're still just as bad as when I woke. Which was after 1 hours sleep btw, so I only woke up because the storm WAS SO FRICKEN LOUD!

That's the storm I'm getting, it's come from inland too which is just weird for a coastal city with only small mountains and desert out back.
It'll probably we gone or smaller by the time you look at it, but that's a big storm.

About 15minutes ago my teenage brother came into my room with out terrified little dog and we very quickly decided that we should all go and pile into Mum's bed. We're not normally scared of storms (I tend to love them) but I've been in cyclones that haven't been this bad. I felt safer once I had my laptop and proof that there was life beyond our house... It's a little crazy. The dog seems to like us being together too.

I went outside for a brief moment (undercover too) and reached out to get mum's favourite cactus out of the rain. I have reaaaally long arms and the plant was hanging on the edge of the roof. But I got soaked. SO MUCH RAIN! There wasn't this much in the massive flooding earlier this year. There was no sun either, none at all. It's impossible to tell if there is one (I'm assuming there is) since this storm is trying to take over the world.

Yes. I'm scared of the storm. You would be too if you were here.
